Having studied many complementary therapies, it was in 1987 that I discovered ear treatment candles, successfully launching them onto the UK market in 1991.  In 2004, I published Hopi Candles, a comprehensive account of the candles and their amazingly beneficial effects.  Its non-technical language makes it accessible to the lay reader as well as to the therapist; it contains many case histories of people who have found relief through ear candling, and much, much more.  The book has also been published in French under the title Les bougies auriculaires et leurs bienfaits méconnus . 

I have appeared on BBC and Granada television in the UK and have given numerous radio interviews to the BBC, the BBC World Service and Capital Radio (London) as well as various other radio stations in the UK and abroad.  Several articles on the candles have appeared in leading British and Swiss magazines. 

At present I am contributing a monthly column to The Psychic News, an online newspaper.

In 2003 I obtained a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and, in 2004, I completed a proof-reading course with Chapterhouse.  Having trained as a Listener with the Samaritans, I also hold a diploma in hypnotherapy. 

I live in Switzerland and work as a writer, therapist, freelance translator, proof-reader and teacher.
